The Automotive Aftermarket division oversees Schaeffler's worldwide spare parts operations. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, characteristics, and requirements for assigned products, guiding the development process from a functional standpoint. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations while striving for value creation and commercial success.
  • Develop both functional and non-functional product requirements to optimize product value.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it remains current and transparent for the team.
  • Collaborate with the development team to establish iteration targets, facilitating the creation of shippable product increments and approving iteration results for deployment.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and the team to formulate a mid-term product release strategy.
  • Collaborate with other Product Owners and procurement teams regarding component sourcing.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed international studies in fields such as business administration, information technology, or software engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Extensive international professional experience, ideally in IT or management consulting, technology firms, data science agencies, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in software development or executing digitization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, preferably with certification as a product owner.
  • Expertise in requirements documentation, dependency identification, and defining Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  • Experience in software development projects involving both proprietary and open-source software.
  • Proficient in agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with MS Office.
  • Technical knowledge in analytics, data science solutions, internet technologies, and web applications.
  • Software development skills (e.g., object-oriented programming) and agile development certification are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with a high capacity for abstraction.
