We are a fast-growing start-up, founded in 2021, with a team of 30 people in Berlin and Cologne. We are developing Europe's leading booking SaaS and a marketplace for local courses and workshops.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying our backend systems using DevOps practices and modern methodologies.

You will work closely with our cross-functional agile teams, including Product Owners, Front-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Our ideal candidate has experience in front and backend development, with proficiency in PHP and Laravel. You should have a proactive mindset, a strong understanding of agile development principles, and experience with product development processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy backend systems using DevOps practices and modern methodologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Front-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
Requirements
  • Experience in front and backend development, with proficiency in PHP and Laravel
  • Proactive mindset, strong understanding of agile development principles, and experience with product development processes
  • Experience with relational and document databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with AWS products and Serverless architecture is a plus
