About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Key Expert 4 to join our team at GIZ International Services. As a Key Expert 4, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-level technical assistance and policy advice for the development and implementation of 3 Pan-African energy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement energy sector policy and regulatory frameworks to enable the African Single Electricity Market (AfSEM)
- Operationalize the Continental (Power System) Master Plan (CMP) and develop the Africa Energy Efficiency Strategy (AfEES)
- Provide institutional support to ensure coherent policy and regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with international partners to achieve project objectives
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as energy policy, economics, or law
- At least 12 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on policy and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in English and French (at least level C1)
