Strategic Product Manager for Digital Extras

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Product Manager to join our team at Mercedes-Benz AG. As a key member of our Product Management department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future product portfolio for the connected vehicle and the customer relationship with Mercedes-Benz.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct competitive analyses in the automotive sector and consumer electronics industry to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and present new business models and calculations on monetization potential, taking into account current developments in autonomous driving, electromobility, and shared mobility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the product portfolio, offer concept, and pricing for the introduction of connected services in all sales regions.
  • Design concepts for new sales channels and remuneration models independent of vehicle sales, such as the introduction of an in-car store.
  • Collect, evaluate, and design ideas for new connectivity services for introduction in the next 5 years.
Requirements
  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, technical business administration, automotive economics, or a comparable course of study.
  • Confident written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Proficient handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team and commitment.
  • Strategic way of working and analytical way of thinking.
  • Driving license class B and an affinity for the automotive and smartphone world.
