In this role, you will contribute to these critical efforts by developing, testing, and maintaining software that aligns with these standards. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts in software engineering, testing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Focus on the evaluation and quality assurance of software projects. Maintain software integral to Dolby's product offerings. Develop, test, and uphold software related to standardization initiatives. Coordinate software project activities with both internal and external development teams. Collaborate with global development and standardization teams. Assist business units in development, testing, and integration projects.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in C/C++ programming for digital signal processing. Familiarity with audio codecs and technologies, including xHE-AAC, MPEG-H 3D Audio, or Dolby AC-4. Extensive experience in software quality assessment. A degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience working within the Scrum framework. Strong communication skills in English (German language skills are a plus but not mandatory). A self-driven, proactive, and positive approach, with a focus on solutions and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner. Background in audio standardization efforts, including MPEG or 3GPP. Solid understanding of Dolby's audio products. Strong presentation skills for conveying technical concepts and solutions.
