C++ Developer for Quality Assurance Tools

About the Role:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to enhance our Research and Development team. Our engineers focus on the development of quality assurance tools, with our flagship product being a comprehensive solution for automating tests on graphical user interfaces (GUIs) across various platforms. Additionally, we provide a complete code coverage tool and a centralized server for managing and analyzing test results.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our products, including GUI testing tools and test management systems.
  • Engage in various aspects of product development based on your interests, such as GUI support, scripting language integration, client/server communication, and report generation.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions within your team and across departments.
  • Independently manage your assigned tasks and projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our offerings.
  • Work across different platforms and environments.
  • Communicate with clients regarding bug reports and feature requests.

About You:

  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in C++ is essential.
  • Experience with the Qt framework is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools, specifically JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or macOS environments.
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with Java is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including unit, component, or UI testing, is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the team and across departments.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
