C++ Engineer for Testing Tools

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team. Our engineers focus on enhancing the quality assurance tools we offer. Our flagship product is a renowned tool for automating tests on graphical user interfaces (GUIs) across various platforms. Additionally, we develop a comprehensive code coverage tool and a centralized server for managing and analyzing test results.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our products including the GUI testing tool, test management server, and code coverage tool, along with new offerings.
  • Engage in various aspects of product development based on your interests, such as GUI support, scripting language bindings, client/server communication, and report generation.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions within your team and across departments.
  • Independently manage your assigned tasks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance and expand our product offerings.
  • Work across different platforms and environments.
  • Communicate with customers regarding bug reports and feature requests.

About You:

  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in C++ is essential.
  • Experience with the Qt framework is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools, particularly JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or macOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in any scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with Java is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including unit, component, or UI testing, is beneficial.
  • Ability to facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written.
