Position Overview:
As a key player in our IT department, you will oversee the coordination of both Minor and Major SAP Releases, collaborating with various stakeholders including Solution Lines, Product Owners, SAP-Basis, Testing Teams, and IT Service Management Teams. Your role will involve the development of comprehensive 'Cutover Plans' to ensure seamless transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, document, and effectively communicate release schedules.
- Ensure the timely technical resolution of reported issues in alignment with the planned release content.
- Generate and maintain regular reports on incoming IT requirements and changes.
- Prepare and disseminate release communications to both internal and external parties.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance release processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Provide support to IT teams in utilizing SAP Solution Manager 7.2, particularly in the context of Change Request Management within R/3 and S/4 environments.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager 7.2, especially in Change Request Management.
Demonstrated experience in SAP Release and Deployment Management, ideally with exposure to SAP systems or SAP Basis.
Strong understanding of process management and business processes.
Exceptional analytical skills and a self-directed work approach.
Excellent communication abilities, conflict resolution skills, and facilitation expertise.
A business-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality.
ITIL certification or knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.
Proficient English language skills; additional European languages are advantageous.
