About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tech Operations Engineer to join our team at Intellias. As a TechOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of testing equipment related to automotive navigation systems. This role requires strong hardware equipment maintenance skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and maintenance of hardware equipment in the laboratory or inside of the cars
  • Firmware updates and application installation
  • Execute manual Sanity/Smoke tests after the SW update
  • Researching and finding optimal ways to resolve issues related to HW and SW on-site
  • Producing daily and weekly reports
  • Attending project-related ceremonies & meetings
  • Daily presence in the customer facilities
  • Business-casual look
Requirements
  • Ability to learn new
  • Ability to work independently and/or within the team
  • Proven experience in hardware installation and maintenance procedures
  • Proven system administration skills
  • Hands-on experience with HW maintenance(rigs, cars SW update)
  • Solid experience in troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix systems and practical experience
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting
  • Solid networking understanding (TCP/IP stack, Wi-Fi)
  • Upper-intermediate level of English
  • Open-minded person
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work permit for Germany, or EU citizenship
