The Role


Intellias is looking for a skilled Tech Operations Engineer with good hardware equipment maintenance skills, to be responsible for maintenance and support of the testing of a set of devices related to automotive navigation systems. TechOps engineer should be ready for short business trips across Europe from time to time.

What you will do

  • Installation and maintenance of hardware equipment in the laboratory or inside of the cars
  • Firmware updates and application installation
  • Execute manual Sanity/Smoke tests after the SW update
  • Researching and finding optimal ways to resolve issues related to HW and SW on-site
  • Producing daily and weekly reports
  • Attending project-related ceremonies & meetings
  • Daily presence in the customer facilities
  • Business-casual look

Ideal Profile

What you need for this

  • Ability to learn new
  • Ability to work independently and/or within the team
  • Proven experience in hardware installation and maintenance procedures
  • Proven system administration skills
  • Hands-on experience with HW maintenance(rigs, cars SW update)
  • Solid experience in troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix systems and practical experience
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting
  • Solid networking understanding (TCP/IP stack, Wi-Fi)
  • Upper-intermediate level of English
  • Open-minded person
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work permit for Germany, or EU citizenship

Nice to have:

  • Experience with next SW tools – ODIS, iDEX, CP tool
  • Hands-on with CAN, Lin – protocols
  • Automotive experience especially with EU car manufactures
  • CCNA certification
  • High Voltage system certification
