Service Technician in the Field

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at ZwickRoell. As a Service Technician in the Field, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site service and maintenance on servohydraulic testing machines and equipment
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on the operation of our testing equipment and software
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with electromechanical and servohydraulic testing systems
  • Calibrate testing machines in accordance with DAkkS guidelines, including creation of test protocols

Requirements

  • Completed technical training in Mechatronics, Materials Testing, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and fluency in German, English, and French languages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility
  • High level of travel required within Germany and neighboring countries, with occasional international assignments
