Strategic Customer Relationship Manager

LOCATION: Germany, remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and nurture a robust, positive strategic partnership with clients.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer regarding IGEL products and their functionalities.
  • Support the escalation process of support incidents until resolution.
  • Assist in directing support inquiries to the appropriate channels.
  • Validate customer projects and offer guidance on future initiatives and upgrades.
  • Create and align a detailed account strategy with the client, documenting their environment, expectations, priorities, and technology deployment roadmap.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's environment and leverage this insight to proactively enhance efficiencies within their operations. Serve as the trusted advisor on technical best practices.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of the client’s setup to identify additional sales opportunities for IGEL products.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Technical Relationship Management role supporting enterprise-level clients.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, consulting, or systems integration with vendors or Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the IT sector.
  • Experience with application and desktop virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages is advantageous (e.g., PowerShell, bash, python).
  • Understanding of common database platforms and concepts is a plus (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).
  • Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Willingness to contribute to team dynamics and engage in all aspects of company culture.
