About the Program
The Amazon Graduate E-Commerce Trainee Program offers a diverse range of exciting opportunities within the realms of Vendor Management (Retail) or Partner Management (Marketplace). Over a span of 24 months, you will receive guidance from senior leaders, experts, and mentors, ensuring you acquire practical experience in a dynamic, international setting from day one through hands-on training.

Throughout the program, you will rotate through various teams, allowing you to familiarize yourself with multiple Amazon divisions. Your manager will work with you to tailor your rotations based on your skills and career aspirations. Each rotation will involve active participation in strategic projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
During your time in the program, you will:
  • Engage in rotations lasting several months across different teams.
  • Take ownership of your business unit and projects to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with international teams across various domains such as Advertising, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and more.
  • Receive mentoring and access to a variety of training opportunities.
  • Explore exceptional career pathways within a global network upon completion of the program.

Vendor Management Focus
In the Vendor Management sector, you will act as an entrepreneur within the organization, managing relationships with strategic suppliers and entire product categories. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Connecting with new suppliers, negotiating terms, and making informed business decisions.
  • Collaborating with international teams to enhance the customer experience in your product category.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of all relevant processes in our Retail business.

Partner Management Focus
In the Partner Management area, you will support retailers comprehensively and internationally to ensure their success on Amazon. Your role will involve:
  • Advising a diverse range of dealers and fostering the growth of their online businesses.
  • Developing tailored sales strategies and optimizing marketing campaigns in collaboration with partners.
  • Conducting data-driven analyses for strategic projects and presenting findings to management.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration (preferably with a focus on Sales, Purchasing, or Logistics), Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Completion of at least two internships (preferably in E-Commerce, Consulting, Sales, or Logistics).
  • Experience in an international environment (ideally through study or internship abroad).
  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise both internal and external stakeholders.
