About the Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch) Graduate E-Commerce Trainee Program

We are seeking highly motivated and analytically-minded graduates to join our Amazon Graduate E-Commerce Trainee Program in Munich. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, international environment and work on challenging projects to improve the customer experience at Amazon.

Program Overview

  • Duration: 24 months
  • Location: Munich
  • Two Paths Available: Vendor Management (Retail) or Partner Management (Marketplace)
  • Rotation opportunities in various areas: Advertising, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Prime Management, Amazon Business, Amazon Fresh, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and lead projects as a part of an international team
  • True ownership and responsibility from Day 1: You will own your business unit and project to enhance process efficiencies in your department

Vendor Management (Retail) Focus

In the area of Vendor Management, you will be responsible for the relationship with our strategic suppliers or entire product categories. Your tasks will include connecting with new suppliers, negotiating conditions, making business decisions, and developing marketing strategies.

Partner Management (Marketplace) Focus

In Marketplace, you will address new customers in a national and international environment, form long-term partnerships, and communicate with top decision-makers. Your tasks will include independently advising a wide range of dealers, continuously developing the online business, and developing individual sales-promoting strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (ideally with a focus on Sales, Purchasing or Logistics), Business Informatics or a similar degree required
  • Minimum two internships completed (ideally in the areas of E-Commerce, Consulting, Sales or Logistics)
  • Experience in an international environment (ideally through a semester or internship abroad)
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English is a mandatory requirement
  • Experience working with Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to advise internal and external contacts
  • Possess a high level of commitment and initiative
  • Quickly grasp and enjoy working with numbers and data
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English and German
