Program Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to program stakeholders for managing scope definition, timelines, budget, and quality across all program components; escalates decisions to stakeholders as required.
  • Facilitates the program planning process, including tool and schedule development.
  • Evaluates and approves program plans to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Serves as the primary communication link to stakeholders and the program steering committee, providing regular briefings and status updates. Prepares program status reports, risk assessments, and gathers Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to drive resolution of issues and ensure program objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Directs and coordinates resources across various company functions and conducts routine program reviews to ensure development and key performance indicators remain on target.
  • Ensures that the program meets the cost, quality, performance, production rate, and yield metrics established during the proposal phase.
  • Guides the program through all phases from concept to commercial implementation.
  • Proactively manages changes in program scope, identifies potential challenges, and formulates contingency plans.
  • Collaborates across functions to set performance, schedule, cost, and quality goals for internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred; PMI/PMP certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing system-level products, encompassing hardware, firmware, and software within a fully integrated system.
  • Proven experience in leading results-oriented brand management and product planning strategies utilizing VOC to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate long-term strategic goals and establish competitive strategies based on market insights, financial analysis, and technological trends.
  • Experience managing ISO-9000 compliant projects (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, including leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional development teams.
  • Basic understanding of hardware and software development processes, electronics manufacturing, and materials procurement.
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management and change management.
