Job Summary:

Fluke is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our program management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the scope definition, schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program plans, tools, and schedules to ensure successful program execution.
  • Review and approve program plans for conformance to program strategy and schedule.
  • Act as the communications conduit to sponsors and program steering committee, providing regular briefings and status updates.
  • Prepare program status reports, risk analyses, and Voice of Customer (VOC) collection to drive issues to closure and ensure achievement of program goals and KPIs.
  • Direct and coordinate resources throughout respective company functions to ensure program development and key performance indicators stay on track.
  • Ensure the program achieves cost, quality, performance, production rate, and yield metrics defined during the proposal stages.
  • Lead the program through all stages from idea to commercial execution.
  • Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to establish performance, schedule, cost, and quality objectives for internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is desired.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience developing system-level products, including hardware, firmware, and software in a fully integrated system.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading aggressive and results-driven brand management and product planning strategies utilizing VOC to identify growth opportunities for the company.
  • Proven experience in developing long-range strategic goals with the ability to establish competitive strategy based on market intelligence, financials, and technology drivers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ISO-9000 compliant projects (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, including leadership of geographically dispersed, cross-functional development teams.
  • Basic understanding of hardware and software development processes, electronics manufacturing, and materials procurement.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven experience in risk management and change management.
