Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the product line and portfolio for "Compounds for beverage applications," encompassing business development, supply chain management, pricing strategies, innovation, and overall growth initiatives. Oversee the global product assortment in collaboration with the product organization and relevant internal stakeholders within our global matrix structure. Establish a strategic roadmap to drive business and revenue growth in close cooperation with the Team Leader of Product Management. Participate in regular meetings with R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales teams to align on pricing strategies, product portfolios, and supply chain matters. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark our product offerings and prepare comprehensive competitive assessments. Support the sales team by engaging in customer visits, projects, and briefings to share specific product and market insights. Define success metrics and analyze customer feedback and product usage to inform the product roadmap. Provide timely and aligned updates on the product portfolio across all communication channels, including internal and external media. Facilitate in-house training sessions to enhance understanding of the product portfolio and its positioning.Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a product manager in the food and beverage sector, preferably within a B2B context. Degree in food technology, business administration, biotechnology, or a related field. Demonstrated success in creating and executing sustainable product roadmaps. Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to engage transparently with clients and foster positive experiences through partnership. Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines. Hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working collaboratively as well as independently. Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time. Proficiency in English and German is essential; additional languages are advantageous.Benefits
