As the Strategic Procurement Manager for Office and Factory Supplies (OFS), you will engage in all phases of commercial opportunities. By assessing expenditure and contract data, you will uncover business opportunities that propel Siemens Energy forward. Your innovative and practical ideas will help formulate strategies to leverage these opportunities. Additionally, you will possess the capability to negotiate with suppliers effectively to achieve your objectives. You will also have a keen understanding of business and partner requirements to meet their expectations. Impactful Contributions Develops, reviews, and aligns a comprehensive global commodity strategy for procuring Office and Factory Supplies in collaboration with our Business Process Outsourcing Partner (BPO). Assists in negotiating advantageous contract and commercial terms. Streamlines procurement processes (demand forecasting, market analysis, RfX invitations, supplier scouting/selection/development, negotiation, and awarding) in conjunction with our external BPO partner. Monitors existing and new framework agreements to identify commercial opportunities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that all category sourcing initiatives are aligned with shared goals and priorities, fostering positive relationships with key partners to align procurement objectives with business needs. Aids in defining P2P and Buying Channel strategies in partnership with the Global Procurement Process and Technology Owner, utilizing reports from the Analytics Specialist to identify automation potential and P2P/Channel effectiveness. Manages relationships with key suppliers in the designated category, tracking the performance of strategic suppliers in accordance with our Procurement guidelines. Implements supplier development initiatives; organizes cross-functional review meetings with key strategic suppliers to enhance performance and further reduce costs. Qualifications Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, law, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement management as a category or commodity manager. Extensive experience in formulating commodity strategies and contracting within a large corporate setting. Strong background in Office and Factory Supply, particularly in areas such as Tools & MRO, Office Supplies, Waste, Print, Promotional Items, Packaging, and Components. Exceptional analytical and commercial acumen, coupled with a pragmatic approach. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Comprehensive knowledge of contracts and legal frameworks. Proficiency in English and German is essential. Experience collaborating with a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Partner.
