Job Title: Global Commodity Manager - Office and Factory Supplies

About the Role

As a Global Commodity Manager for Office and Factory Supplies, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global commodity strategy for the purchase of Office and Factory Supplies. This includes analyzing spend and contract data to identify commercial opportunities, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global commodity strategy for Office and Factory Supplies
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable contract and commercial terms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Monitor existing and new frame agreements for commercial opportunities
  • Support the relationship management with key suppliers

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering, law, or equivalent
  • Professional experience in procurement management as a category/commodity manager
  • Excessive experience in developing commodity strategies and contracting within a large corporate environment
  • Strong experience in Office and Factory Supply, ideally in some of the following areas: Tools & MRO, Office Supplies, Waste, Print, Promo Items, Packaging, and Components
