About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Germany and Switzerland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities with Enterprise clients in the DACH region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and maximize sales revenue through effective business development strategies
  • Manage a pipeline of revenue and activity, ensuring profitable growth
  • Assist with RFPs, tenders, and proposals
  • Develop sales skills, market knowledge, and best practices to achieve targets
  • Access C-Level and Director-level contacts within client accounts and target prospects
  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting and responding to inbound leads
  • Position Acolad solutions and services to meet client needs
  • Implement sales and pipeline-building market strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales development and closing deals
  • Native German speaker with proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a strong plus
  • Experience in the language industry is highly desirable
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and deliver compelling presentations
  • Account mapping, planning, and management skills
  • Understanding of competitors, unique selling points, and commercial awareness
