Internship in Client Relations

As an Intern in Client Relations at Commerzbank AG Deutschland, you will assist Product Advisors and Relationship Managers in serving banks and public sector clients across Europe and North America. You will be part of a large sales organization responsible for distributing cash management, trade finance, and capital market products, as well as bilateral and syndicated loans to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to Trade and Cash specialists.
  • Analyze and interpret transaction-related data to formulate or update sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare internal and external sales materials and information brochures.
  • Participate in projects aimed at enhancing team workflow and increasing sales capabilities.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Exhibit strong communication and sales skills, along with high social competence and intercultural adaptability.
  • Demonstrate an analytical and numerical mindset, with creative and innovative thinking.
  • Take ownership of short- and long-term projects, meet deadlines, and show initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience in programming (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is a plus.
  • Previous internship experience in finance or business is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are desirable.
