Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Manager Process Industries to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for global sales responsibility for Process Industry, lateral leadership of sales and service colleagues in subsidiaries within a matrix organization, and strategy development and execution to enable sales teams to grow in focus applications/products/customers and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sales strategies to drive growth in Process Industry
- Lead and manage sales and service teams in subsidiaries to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Application Engineering, Tribology, R&D, Product Management, and Marketing to bring superior solutions to market
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Process Industry
- Manage and execute global growth initiatives to replace competition
- Evolve value selling argumentation and training for sales teams
- Provide application and product training, consulting, and support for sales teams, end-users, and OEMs
- Scout and multiply success stories from regions
- Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree or commercial degree with strong technical background
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Process Industry
- Experience in sales, marketing, key account management in an international environment
- Experience in working in a matrix organization, ideally on local and global level
- Ability to influence without formal authority
- Excellent business English skills (written and verbal), additional languages preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (ca. > 25% of time)
- Entrepreneurial self-starter, willing to challenge the status quo
