Director of Dealer Network

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Director (m/f/d) Dealer Network at Linde EMEA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support our regions and countries in defining and optimizing the 'Linde' approach with our Dealer Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the Linde Dealer network footprint across EMEA, including location and geographical sales density, and support with succession planned and new dealer openings/partnerships.
  • Participate in M&A activities by providing key information and support during transactions.
  • Work in a large stakeholder network across the regions and our headquarter functions to co-define and deploy the dealer network strategy.
  • Establish targets and KPIs, conduct regular review meetings to steer and manage the business, and ensure targets are driven by you.
  • Work with the regions and legal team to develop and maintain contractual policies and a dealer certification program, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory practices.
  • Analyse leading indicators across both sales and service to predict potential challenges, work with the regions to identify corrective actions and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the regions and our international Key Account department to maximize the customer experience and optimize service levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve dealer performance and ensure satisfaction is high within their/our customer base.
Requirements
  • You have completed a business degree, e.g. Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field, and have sound professional experience in the field of dealer relationships or a similar role in the material handling industry.
  • You have a deep understanding of the relevant processes in the industrial sector (B2B) and an understanding of legal and regulatory practices in EMEA in matrix organizations.
  • You have extensive experience turning data into insights and actions to create sales strategies.
  • You have a team-oriented way of working, implementation strength, and initiative, and communicate fluently in German and English; another European language could be a benefit.
  • You have a strong willingness to travel within the EMEA region.
