Lead Commercial Finance Strategist

Working Hours: Full-time
- Oversee a dedicated team responsible for crafting commercial pricing strategies, proposals, and modifications for global projects. These initiatives are pivotal in combating climate change by enabling utilities to optimize energy consumption and integrate renewable energy sources.
- Utilize strategic insights to drive company growth and enhance profit margins, playing a crucial role in shaping pricing strategies.
- Work in tandem with the sales department to develop competitive bids, proposals, and sales projections.
- Manage foreign exchange risk, structure financial guarantees, and negotiate project funding.
- Prepare and evaluate financial reports, ensuring alignment with initial budgets and project costs.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, project execution, and software development teams.
- Engage closely with joint ventures in various regions.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer with specialized financial analyses and strategic financial matters.
- Participate in international projects across multiple continents.
- Offer insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing financial performance.
- This position reports directly to the CFO.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, complemented by a minimum of three years in financial analysis or project finance.
- Proven experience in negotiating and pricing commercial agreements for projects across sectors such as engineering, consulting, energy, and utilities.
- Strong commercial insight and analytical capabilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
- Experience with international projects is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for addressing climate-related challenges.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Located in Germany or within reasonable commuting distance.
