Financial Manager for Events

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team at ZMF Event GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the complete finance and accounting function, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the events industry.
- Proven track record of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in financial software, including accounting systems and financial modeling tools.
