Customer Support Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Field Support Representative at Textron Aviation, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support and service to our customers and Authorized Service Facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive the highest level of assistance regarding Textron Aviation products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical guidance and service support to customers within designated regions, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Document and report field issues, contributing to product improvement initiatives by collaborating with product support teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation to communicate fleet issues and their potential impacts to management.
  • Respond to inquiries from aircraft owners and operators, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
  • Manage diverse situations with adaptability and professionalism, maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Authorized Service Facilities to meet customer expectations and uphold service standards.
  • Address inquiries related to Warranty, Service Programs, and maintenance management systems.
  • Engage with the aviation community to stay informed about trends and customer needs in your region.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and technical events to represent Textron Aviation.
  • Support the sales organization by providing technical insights during customer interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at supplier meetings and operator conferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring availability for support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance with an A&P/EASA license.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft structural repair or customer support.
  • Preferred experience in Customer Service or Field Service roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel globally.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with a focus on achieving departmental goals.
  • Ability to recommend necessary support equipment and inventory levels for maintenance operations.
