Utility Systems Specialist

Specialist in Water Supply and Waste ManagementPosition Overview

This role involves the management and maintenance of essential utility systems. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of water supply and waste management processes.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Internal employees and external applicants within Germany are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs and organizes utility systems, equipment, and apparatus.
  • Implements modifications and expansions on existing utility systems.
  • Operates and maintains various utility systems.
  • Conducts inspections and tests on piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Installs different types of pipes and maintains wastewater systems.
  • Undertakes additional assigned responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of vocational training lasting at least 30 months or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, completion of vocational training combined with experience at a similar level.
  • A valid driver's license (Class C) is required.
  • Language skills: English Level A1 and German Level B1 are mandatory.
Employment Conditions:
  • This is a permanent full-time position (38.5 hours per week).
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Candidates must be prepared to perform on-call duties and lift/carry weights up to 40 lbs.
