About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager to drive the growth and development of our wax additives business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing our product portfolio and innovation pipeline to meet customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a portfolio strategy for sustainable growth, aligned with business unit, market, and technology goals.
  • Manage and optimize the product portfolio to meet market demands, pricing, technical requirements, performance, and innovations.
  • Lead the innovation pipeline for the segment, working closely with R&D to prioritize projects based on financial projections and strategic fit.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure the product portfolio meets customer needs and is well-positioned in the market.
  • Monitor market demand and define capacity needs, developing business cases to support investment in new products or capacity expansion.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing approach for the portfolio, based on corresponding analyses and trends.
  • Support end-use organization in utilizing the product portfolio and proactively supporting the commercial team in identifying new opportunities and expanding our value proposition and market influence.

Requirements

  • Extensive technical and commercial experience in the wax additives industry, with expertise in product management, sales, or business development.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • University degree with a scientific, technical, or business orientation.
  • Specialist expertise in chemistry is a plus.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and reporting systems is a plus.
  • Excellent data analysis, planning, and strategic and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Very good presentation skills and strong moderation skills.
  • Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken, Dutch would be a plus.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and negotiation skills are a must.
