Senior Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our Software Sales Team at Hacon Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with our local and regional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Software Portfolio Management: Master our Software TPS portfolio, working closely with our PLM and System Management teams to deliver optimal solutions to our customers.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence: Monitor the market from an entrepreneurial perspective, establishing a consistent customer strategy and identifying new business opportunities.
- Project Management: Lead multi-disciplinary bid teams for medium and large opportunities, guiding project teams during the delivery phase and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Market and Opportunity Development: Provide continuous transparency on market and opportunity development to our management team, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.
- Education: Degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: At least eight years of sales, business development, or system management experience in the rail industry, with a strong understanding of software design and development processes.
- Technical Skills: Experience with planning processes within the rail industry, technical understanding of software design and development processes, and a track record of delivering successful projects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
