Job Summary

The Head of R2R Solutions is a key role within the Market Financial Controlling & Operations department in Lean Corporate Services (LCS). This position is responsible for driving the Record to Report (R2R) process and capabilities team, a critical enabler of Lean Corporate Services (LCS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for continuous efficiency gains and quality improvements in the R2R process, through harmonisation of processes throughout markets in scope
  • Accountable for delivering R2R data and process insights that drive quality, transparency and reporting output
  • Owns the R2R Roadmap and drives the R2R accounting evolution through transformation
  • Co-Ownership of the revamped Finance Operating model for R2R
  • KPI definition, governance and reporting for the global R2R process
  • Ensures effective alignment with CSO and markets and be a role-model in collaborating with the wider Finance community and all relevant Vodafone internal and external key stakeholders
  • Directs effective partner relations and performance management with CSO and, if applicable, external BPO
  • Creates a culture of proactive continuous improvement of processes, systems and people and provide a platform for the people to develop their career and employability
  • Develops robust pool of talents to step into leadership roles

Requirements

  • Leadership skills and experience in managing teams in a complex (incl. cross-border) and changing/dynamic operating environment
  • Deep Technical financial and accounting skills
  • Excellent self-leadership & highly self-reflective
  • Competent in coaching & moderation
  • Experienced in using agile work methods and tools
  • High level of resilience and tolerance of ambiguity
  • Strong ambassador of diversity; skilled in managing diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent business partnering Skills and 'Can Do' mindset with focus on customer satisfaction beyond expectations
  • Analytical, innovative, adaptable, team player and leader with broad experience and understanding of performance management
  • Very strong cooperation, coordination, communication and presentation skills
  • University graduate, preferably from Finance and Accouting, Business Administration, Economics, etc.
  • 12+ year experience in finance, in-particular in all areas of finance operations either by practical delivery or through oversight
  • Profound IT and data analytics skills
  • Telecommunications industry experience
