About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical IT Security Expert to join our team in the eHealth division at secunet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research and development projects in the field of Medical IT Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research and development projects in Medical IT Security
  • Provide internal services to Business Development and Product Management in the eHealth division, including the development of new products and portfolios
  • Analyze the relevance of Medical IT Security standards and translate them into requirements for our product development
  • Conduct risk analyses, develop security concepts, and evaluate security technologies
  • Standardize regulatory management tasks in internal and external projects
  • Participate in internal and external committees and associations related to cybersecurity for medical devices
  • Lead research projects and consortia to define future security standards and architectures for critical medical networks

Requirements

  • You hold a successful degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or a related field, or have equivalent experience and training in IT
  • You have excellent knowledge of common standards, regulations, and guidelines in IT and information security, as well as in the healthcare sector
  • You have basic project management skills
  • You have experience or interest in participating in research projects
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
