About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical IT Security Expert to join our team in the eHealth division at secunet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research and development projects in the field of Medical IT Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research and development projects in Medical IT Security
- Provide internal services to the Business Development and Product Management teams in the eHealth division to support the development of products and portfolios
- Analyze the relevance of Medical IT Security standards and translate them into requirements for our product development
- Conduct risk analyses, develop security concepts, and evaluate security technologies
- Standardize regulatory management tasks in internal and external projects
- Participate in internal and external committees and associations related to cybersecurity for medical devices
- Lead or participate in research projects and consortia to define future security standards and architectures for critical medical networks
Requirements
- You hold a successful degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or a related field, or have equivalent experience and training in IT
- You have excellent knowledge of common standards, regulations, and guidelines in IT and information security, as well as in the healthcare sector
- You have basic project management skills
- It would be beneficial if you have experience or interest in participating in research projects
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic
- You have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
