About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Director to drive our company's commercial strategy and maximize business growth. As a key leadership position, this role requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving revenue and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to understand market conditions and industry trends, as well as business operations to inform business marketing and sales strategy.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter new markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand the needs of current customers and devise and implement customer acquisition strategies.
- Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives.
- Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales performance and meet sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior commercial role for high-tech capital investment products, preferably in the laser machine tool industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies that align with the corporate aims of the business.
- A business qualification – BSc/BA/ MSc/MA in business administration or a relevant field.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
