About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer in Energy Solutions to join our team at E.ON Energy Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative energy solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of modular and standardized solution components for sustainable sector-coupled energy solutions
  • Develop solution components for the decarbonization of our existing systems from the end customer side, network, power plant, and up to the systematic integration of environmental energies
  • Coordinate and lead the technical and economic rough conceptualization for new-build and existing plant projects
  • Develop calculations from rough calculations to binding offers
  • Monitor the funding landscape, acquire funding (application for our projects) and take over funding management
  • Accompany funding projects and take over stakeholder management to the project sponsors
  • Develop the systematics for rule-compliant price formulas in close coordination with sales, legal, and customer service
  • Work closely and proactively with the departments of sales, planning and construction, energy economics, operation, and support functions
  • Manage stakeholders and associations and work closely with the municipal management of Westenergie
  • Work in the EIS Germany competence model and the international EIS Academy

Requirements

  • Completed (federal) university degree in economics and/or engineering or equivalent professional skills and knowledge
  • Professional experience in solution development in the field of heat and sustainable energy solutions
  • Leadership experience including the ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Broad energy economic, technical, and business thinking & know-how
  • Responsible, passionate, and proactive action, high result orientation
  • High level of customer orientation, especially reliability, openness, transparency, and service thinking
  • Strongly developed communicative skills combined with a high level of negotiation skills
