Our client is a pioneering biopharmaceutical company, leading the way in RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics, a revolutionary approach to treating diseases by silencing the genes that cause or contribute to them.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of the local strategic brand plan and financial forecasts in cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Brand Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement the local strategic brand plan, ensuring alignment with the CEMEA TTR plan.
- Implementation and Execution: Ensure flawless implementation of the German TTR plan, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders in the CEMEA region.
- Conference Content Development: Develop conference content and materials, maximizing the opportunity provided by virtual platforms.
- Omnichannel Communication: Implement the omnichannel communication plan, including digital and print channels.
- Event Planning: Plan and organize external events with healthcare professionals and nurses.
- Educational Material Development: Prepare educational material directed to physicians, patients, and nurses.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Review and Clearance: Take ownership of the review process to ensure marketing materials are cleared for promotional use and secure final production.
- Field Force Support: Foster regular exchange with the field force to continuously support execution in the field.
- Best Practices and Learning: Leverage best practices from within the commercial organization and continually foster learning from industry best practices.
- Project Management: Demonstrate excellence in project management and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- International Representation: Represent the German affiliate when participating at international team meetings, focusing on tactical execution.
Qualifications
- Education: University degree in a related field or comparable educational background.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience, with at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Product Management and Sales: Previous experience in pharmaceutical product management and/or sales is required.
- Operational Skills: Hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility for operational topics.
- Project Management: Proven track record in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.
- Rare Diseases Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology is preferred but not necessary.
- Digital Technologies: Experience in digital technologies/tactics is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Pronounced resilience, positive and solution-focused thinking and acting, ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders, organized with systematic approach to prioritization, process-oriented to achieve business objectives, sense of urgency, ethics, and responsibility.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time locally and internationally.
