Head of IT Audit

LANXESS, a prominent specialty chemicals organization, is seeking an IT Audit Manager to enhance their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in IT auditing who are eager to engage in the planning and execution of audits on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Audit Strategy Development: Work closely with various stakeholders to formulate the annual IT audit strategy.
- Execution of IT Audits: Independently orchestrate and carry out IT audits that emphasize IT governance, infrastructure, systems, processes, and cybersecurity across LANXESS's global operations.
- Preparation of Audit Reports: Compile findings and recommendations for management, ensuring the creation of comprehensive audit reports for the board.
- Maintenance of IT Audit Universe: Regularly refresh the IT audit universe to reflect emerging risks and modifications in the IT environment.
- Enhancement of Audit Methodologies: Innovate and refine IT audit processes and methodologies.
- Support for Broader Audits: Provide assistance for both commercial and technical audits.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT auditing within an international corporation or audit firm.
- In-depth understanding of IT processes, governance, management, projects, network technologies, system architectures, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with IT standards such as ITIL, COBIT, BSI Grundschutz, or ISO/IEC 27000.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ISO/IEC 27001.
- A collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Self-sufficient and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel and adaptability.
- Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
