Manager of IT Auditing

LANXESS, a prominent specialty chemicals organization, is seeking an IT Audit Manager to enhance their auditing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in IT auditing who are prepared to undertake the global planning and execution of audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Audit Strategy Development: Partner with key stakeholders to formulate the annual IT audit strategy.
  • Execution of IT Audits: Independently organize and perform IT audits, concentrating on IT governance, infrastructure, systems, processes, and cybersecurity across LANXESS's global operations.
  • Audit Reporting: Deliver findings and actionable recommendations to management, and compile comprehensive audit reports for the board.
  • Maintenance of IT Audit Universe: Continuously update the IT audit universe to reflect emerging risks and shifts in the IT environment.
  • Improvement of Audit Methodologies: Innovate and refine IT audit processes and methodologies.
  • Support for Broader Audits: Provide assistance for both commercial and technical audits.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT auditing within an international organization or audit firm.
  • Deep understanding of IT processes, governance, management, projects, network technologies, system architectures, and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of IT standards such as ITIL, COBIT, BSI Grundschutz, or ISO/IEC 27000.
  • Relevant certifications including CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
