Head of Quality Assurance

As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will oversee the Quality Management and Assurance functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and nurture the teams responsible for Quality Management, Testing & Release Management, Incoming Goods Inspection, End of Line Inspection, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Production Engineering & Testing.
- Gather and analyze quality metrics, develop actionable insights, and implement improvement plans based on performance trends.
- Ensure a streamlined process for addressing and resolving both internal and external quality issues, including risk assessment and the establishment of corrective actions for any discrepancies.
- Support the product development lifecycle to guarantee a high standard of product readiness for market introduction.
- Facilitate ongoing training initiatives and oversee relevant projects to maintain efficient processes documented within our management systems.
- Conduct internal and external audits, as well as manage external quality certifications (e.g., ISO9001).
- Act as a champion for continuous improvement and promote a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in Quality Management and/or Assurance.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Pragmatic and solution-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Determination in driving change initiatives.
- Embodiment of corporate values: openness, proactivity, and confidence.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Willingness to engage in international travel (approximately 15%).
