We are looking for a Franchise Head - Rheumatology to join us in our Germany Immunology team, based in our Monheim, Germany offices.

About the role

The Franchise Head Rheumatology is leading all relevant aspects in the field of Rheumatology within UCB Germany. This involves close collaboration with relevant stakeholders both externally and internally. The Rheumatology marketing and sales teams are reporting directly into the Franchise Head with all other internal functions being part of the cross-functional team.

The Franchise Head is in charge of leading and developing strategy and execution, the overall performance of our product and service portfolio to meet our business objectives and to build-up and develop high-performing teams. The Franchise Head Rheumatology is member of the Immunology Leadership Team.

What you'll do

  • Lead the cross-functional team with vision, inspiration, empowerment and guidance and ensure full buy-in to deliver superior patient value and business results
  • Lead a culture of trust, purpose, ambition, collaboration, D&I, compliance
  • Shape the future of Immunology as member of the Immunology Leadership Team
  • Build and develop diverse and sustainably high-performing teams
  • Act with strong customer focus and establish fruitful relationship with key external stakeholders, e.g. HCPs, hospitals, networks, payers, vendors, health politicians, patient organizations
  • Foster close collaboration within full cross-functional UCB team to provide excellent, seamless customer experience

Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • Passion to win for patients, HCPs and UCB
  • Strong leadership skills in leading leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in strategic planning, prioritization, target setting and tracking
  • In-depth understanding of health ecosystem and German pharma market, ideally with experience in immunology/Rheumatology
  • Curiosity & courage to innovate
