Breeding Information Specialist

For KWS Saat SE & Co. KGaA, we are seeking a highly skilled Breeding Information Specialist to contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of the Breeding Information Team, you will be responsible for documentation management, data curation, user support, training, and software implementations across crops.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft technical documentation, including process maps, QM handbooks, master data, and data dictionaries.
  • Prepare documentation to facilitate the learning of software tools in breeding, such as user manuals, presentations, and videos.
  • Curate historical data sets and perform data transformation to fit them in new software tools.
  • Assist with the organization of software implementation across crops in the breeding stations.
  • Participate in the first-level support of software tools for breeding.
  • Administrate document libraries in collaborative repositories.
  • Support the coordination of special activities in the team, including meetings, events, calendars, onboarding, and more.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related areas.
  • Experience in documentation management and/or information management.
  • Experience with process mapping in professional tools, such as Visio or Signavio.
  • Knowledge of tools to prepare e-learning, such as WalkMe, Camtasia, Stream, and more.
  • Knowledge of plant breeding processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German, or other languages are a plus.
  • Motivated to implement digital tools.
  • Service-oriented, structured, organized, and a team player.
