Banking Specialist

Avaloq Innovation Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of financial transactions and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, plan, and execute daily tasks related to earnings/realizations and general meetings, in accordance with the service level agreements agreed with clients.
- Set up and monitor events, including any instruction deadlines.
- Prepare and send client letters for earnings and general meetings.
- Issue instructions to storage facilities/registration offices.
- Book earnings and realizations, taking into account withholding and foreign source taxes.
- Clarify discrepancies (cash and securities).
- Handle inquiries from storage facilities and banks.
- Support the team in improving the functionality of the Avaloq Core Banking System and related operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Support the team in projects and testing new functionalities in regular release upgrades.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Full flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Good team skills and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently in a highly demanding, fast-paced, and complex environment.
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
- First work experience in a bank's back office is advantageous.
- Experience in the area of earnings and/or capital measures.
- Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
- Visual Basic experience (macro creation).
