Intern in Launch Logistics/Project Management

The global warehouse and transport team at Bayer is responsible for a variety of strategic and operational projects within the pharmaceutical and consumer health supply chain. Launch Logistics deals with the supply chain and transport set-up of new products, including specific challenges in the area of digital, technical and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team regarding project management in the area of launch logistics
  • Assist in the development of project plans, monitoring project progress and deliverables
  • Prepare presentations and status updates
  • Support data analysis and evaluation, as well as present the developed analyses in a clear and concise manner
  • Conduct internal and external research on various topics, especially in the field of digital, technical and sustainable transport solutions for new Bayer products

Requirements

  • Ongoing Master's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management or similar
  • Experience in project management in an international environment is desirable
  • Interest and initial work experience in the areas of supply chain management and transport & warehousing
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically and in a structured manner
  • Strong communication skills and interest in working with international colleagues from a wide range of functions and disciplines
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
