Technician for Active Part Assembly

Position Overview

Hitachi Energy Germany AG is seeking skilled individuals for the assembly of active components at our production facility. This site specializes in the custom manufacturing of power transformers, industrial transformers, and phase-shifting transformers tailored for various applications. The active components form the core of our transformers, where essential elements such as cores, windings, insulation, and connections are assembled in a shift-based work environment. Candidates should possess strong technical abilities, a commitment to teamwork, diligence, and a readiness to learn.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assemble various active components (cores, coils, connections, insulation) according to 2D and 3D technical schematics.
  • Install electrical cabling and create electrical connections, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Secure and press assemblies and windings in compliance with technical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan work tasks and organize the workspace effectively.
  • Set up and operate production machinery, including hydraulic presses and crimping tools rated up to 700 bar.
  • Utilize crane systems (up to 300t), forklifts, transport vehicles, and work platforms safely.
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain documentation through testing records.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the work processes, adhering to 5S principles.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an electronics technician specializing in machine and drive technology.
  • Experience in specialized mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings.
  • Certification in crane, forklift, and aerial work platform operation is advantageous.
  • A team-oriented individual with a precise working style and a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to work in shifts as required.
