About the Role

Senior Plant Layout Engineer (f/m/d) for HVDC Systems

As a Senior Plant Layout Engineer for HVDC systems, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our plant layouts. You will work closely with our multicultural team to ensure that our HVDC systems meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVDC plant layouts that meet individual project requirements
  • Lead a project team of electromechanical, acoustic, seismic, and CAD engineers from project start to construction phase
  • Coordinate with engineering fields, sales, project management, installation, and suppliers to ensure compliance with customer requirements, EHS, and international standards
  • Main contact person for HVDC plant layout to customers, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Ensure overall project success regarding time, costs, and quality

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or comparable education with corresponding professional experience
  • Long-term professional experience in international turnkey projects, ideally in HVDC, FACTS, or substations
  • Advanced project management skills to ensure project timelines, costs, and quality
  • Leadership and communication skills, motivation, willingness to learn, and passion for the job
  • Fluent English skills, German (B1 level) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, or similar) or willingness to learn them
