Senior Data Architect

We are Uniper, a leading energy company, and we are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our Data Design Team in Düsseldorf.
About the RoleThe Data Design Team is responsible for unlocking the data potential and supporting Uniper's business strategy. As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a central role in designing data architectures for our various business areas and empowering corresponding teams. You will also be responsible for guiding teams on data strategy across Uniper, considering compliance requirements, and following our data domain model and data-driven data governance.

- Guide teams on data strategy across Uniper, considering compliance requirements and following our data domain model and data-driven data governance.
- Evaluate new solution options and vendors, including prototyping activities for future data technology options.
- Hold a full voting seat on the Design Authority Board and lead the data architecture practices at Uniper.
- Be the point of contact for data architecture and data discoverability at Uniper, embedded in the Data Strategy of Uniper.
We are looking for a proactive, resilient, and dynamic candidate with excellent communication skills. You should be a team player who can also work independently and effectively. You should have at least five years' experience in relevant positions, preferably in the energy sector, and be able to lead projects. You should also have a strong analytical mindset and ability to manage complex interdependencies, as well as a high intrinsic motivation to drive change and create impact within heterogeneous stakeholder groups.
