IT Network Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Engineer to join our team at Bruker Physik GmbH. As a key member of our in-house IT service provider, you will be responsible for delivering IT services and support to our global internal end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the campus and data center LAN/Wifi infrastructure
- Ensure the stable operation of the network environment
- Maintain and further develop the network infrastructure
- Coordinate with service providers and lifecycle projects
- Provide consulting services to colleagues and departments
- Offer 2nd and 3rd level support
- Document and maintain master data and network diagrams
Requirements:
- Completed studies in computer science/business informatics or IT training
- At least 3 – 5 years of professional experience
- Experience in operating network infrastructures
- Setup and administration of switch environments and controller driven Wi-Fi, preferably Cisco and Meraki
- Experience in operating a NAC solution, preferably Cisco ISE
- Knowledge of network security
- Basic project management experience
- Business economics knowledge
- Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Able to work autonomously
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Independent, analytical and structured way of working
- Team player
- Willingness to travel to other locations (domestic and international < 25%)
- Fluent English and German
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of our locations
