**About the Role**
Copeland is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our process automation team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide commissioning and start-up support at customer sites.
- Support system installation, upgrades and on-site maintenance of DeltaV systems.
- Analyze, document and solve technical customer requests and inquiries.
- Support trainings of customer engineers or operators on site.
- Evaluate and escalate problems to specialists in our support centre for further investigation and follow-up.
- Actively support the sales and service team leader to sell service contracts and its renewal.
- Participate in the Copeland on-call service.
**Requirements**
- Completed technical studies in an engineering field.
- Car driving license and willingness to travel.
- Relevant working experience in an engineering or service position within the process industry.
- Good communication skills in German and English language proficiency (written/read/spoken).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience within the process automation industry, DCS (DeltaV preferred), PLCs, control strategies and technologies, commissioning and start-up of automation, server, PCs and network equipment.
