Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team at Picnic. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in managing the monthly payroll cycle for our Shoppers, Runners, and Central Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and approve the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, sick leave, and pension plans.
- Collaborate with our payroll provider to ensure seamless payment processing.
- Develop and implement processes to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing payroll and benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and benefits regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 1-6 years of experience in payroll, payments, HR, or finance.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Initial experience with an HCM system, preferably Workday, is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English.
