Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team at Picnic. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in managing our payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the monthly payroll cycle, including preparation, review, and approval of payroll transactions.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, pension plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and benefits regulations.
- Collaborate with our payroll provider to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional support to employees, responding to payroll and benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- 1-6 years of working experience in payroll, payments, HR, or finance.
- Initial experience with an HCM system, preferably Workday, is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English.
