Job Title: Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a leading business school, accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in digital finance and technologies, including blockchain, and provide leadership for the FS Blockchain Centre.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality degree and non-degree programs in blockchain, financial technologies, and related areas.
  • Take an active role in teaching and provide overall responsibility for the development and delivery of programs.
Requirements:
  • A sound understanding of finance and underlying technologies, including distributed ledger technologies and blockchain.
  • A doctoral degree in a related field from a reputable academic institution.
  • Several years of academic experience with a publication profile that covers both academic and practice-oriented publications.
  • Experience in obtaining project funding and project development and execution.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
Desirable:
  • A well-established national and international network.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to support entrepreneurial activities in the area of financial technology.
  • Experience in developing innovative programs and networking/communication formats.

The position will be affiliated with the Finance Department, and building strong connections with members of other departments within FS is encouraged.
